Takshi Arash.png

Dr. Takshi received his Ph.D. in organic electronics from the University of British Columbia (UBC), Canada, in 2007. From 2007 to 2009, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow with the UBC, working on bio-photovoltaic devices. Currently, he is a Full Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of South Florida (USF) and NAI, SPIE and IEEE member. Dr. Takshi's primary research interest is in the field of emerging materials for novel electronic devices. His lab at Bio-Organic Electronics is active in studying organic and bio photovoltaic devices and supercapacitors. Additionally, using nanomaterials and organic semiconductors, Takshi's group is working on designing biosensors and gas/VOC sensors for medical applications. Also, his team has devised a method for direct printing copper on fabrics for developing wearable electronics.
